When you receive your box, transfer caviar and roe directly to the refrigerator. To maintain peak freshness, please store it in the coldest area of your refrigerator. Caviar and roe will remain fresh for 4 weeks when refrigerated and unopened.
Blini and latkes should be stored in the freezer as well as your ice packs, if you’d like to reuse them.
Caviar and roe sizes up to 2 ounces are packed in glass jars, 125g and up are packed in tins. To open our glass jars, press a tin key or another strong, flat-edged tool between the lid and the glass and twist slightly, until you feel the vacuum seal release. To open our caviar tins, wedge your tin key between the lid and base of the tin and slowly twist.
Metal has an unpleasant effect on caviar. We recommend using mother of pearl spoons for serving. Use a caviar server or place your tin in a bowl over salted, crushed ice. Keeping your caviar cold maintains optimal taste and quality for you and your guests to enjoy!
Once your caviar or roe has been opened, please enjoy it within 4 days. Air and heat are detrimental to caviar and roe, so replace the lid and refrigerate if you have any left over.
