Wild Scaphirhynchus Platorynchus (Shovelnose), Tennessee

This wild caviar from the Tennessee River provides a perfect balance of earth and brine with a nutty finish. This small sparkling jet black pearl is wonderful on its own as it will beautifully melt in your mouth, or pair it with blini and Crème fraîche for a perfect bite.

Enjoy this caviar on a Wednesday for hump day, or as we say, bump day. Or bring it to a friend’s house warming party as it is excellent for big groups.

Every product is packed fresh to order and has a 4-6 week shelf life, unopened and refrigerated. Once you open the product, you will want to enjoy within 3-4 days.

Caviar Tips

Air and heat are detrimental to caviar. To maintain the top quality of your caviar and roe, please store it in the coldest part of your refrigerator. The caviar will remain fresh for up to 4 - 6 weeks, refrigerated, and unopened.

Metal has an unpleasant effect on caviar. We recommend using Mother of Pearl, glass, wood, horn, or gold for serving. Serve on ice to maintain the optimal caviar quality for you and your guests.

The best way to open your caviar tin is to use a strong, flat-edged tool between the lid and base of the in, slowly twist. Once the caviar has been opened, please enjoy it within 4 days.
